Problem Statement

Many micro dental clinics still rely on manual processes for managing patient records, appointments, and daily operations. These workflows can become time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to scale as clinics grow.

The challenge was to design a platform that simplifies clinic management while making patient information more accessible through an intuitive and AI-assisted experience.

Design Process

Research & Discovery

My team and I conducted research to better understand the challenges faced by micro dental clinics. We gathered insights through surveys with dental clinic staff and patients, while also studying related literature (RRLs) to identify existing gaps in healthcare management systems. These findings helped us understand common pain points such as manual record keeping, appointment management, and inefficient clinic workflows.

User Flows & Wireframing

My team and I created user flows and wireframes for the patient portal and admin dashboard, focusing on reducing complexity and creating efficient workflows for both patients and clinic staff.

High-Fidelity UI Design

I designed the final interface in Figma, creating a consistent design system, dashboard layouts, and responsive screens for different user roles.

Development & AI Integration

Beyond UI/UX design, I contributed to building Teethnology by developing frontend interfaces, backend services, AI integrations, and system connections that turned the designs into a functional healthcare platform.

Outcome

Product Demo

A walkthrough of Teethnology's core features, including the patient portal, admin dashboard, and AI-powered voice interaction workflow. The demo is presented in Tagalog, reflecting the platform's intended use for local dental clinics.
